About Our Credit Card Reviews and Ratings
CreditCardSignups.com (the "Site") reviews credit cards offered in the United States, rates them on a consistent scale, ranks them inside category hubs and provides calculators that help you compare them. Every card surface shows the date its terms were last checked and links to the issuer's own terms page, so you can confirm any figure before you apply.
What the Site is for
The Site is written for people in the United States who are deciding between credit cards and want a clear, specific verdict. Reviews cover the numbers that decide whether a card is worth carrying: the welcome bonus, the earning rates, the annual fee, the interest rates and the benefits you can actually use. Hubs group cards by what you want from them, such as travel rewards, cash back, a balance transfer, no annual fee, or building credit. The tools estimate what a card might return based on the spending you enter.
How the Site is funded
Reading the Site costs nothing. It is paid for by third-party affiliate and advertising partners. When you apply for a card through an offer link on the Site and are approved, a partner pays us a referral fee. Compensation can affect which cards are featured and the order of featured placements, and it breaks ties between cards with equal editorial rank. How reviews are made
Card terms are checked against the issuer's public pages. Each card receives four sub-ratings (rewards, benefits, fees and flexibility) on a 1 to 5 scale, and the overall rating is a weighted average that leans on rewards and benefits. We use software tools to help produce and maintain content, and editors review pages before they are published. The Editorial Policy describes the process and how to report an error.
What the Site does not do
CreditCardSignups.com is not a bank, lender or card issuer. It does not take applications, make credit decisions or see anything you submit to an issuer. There are no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no comments. We do not sell personal information and do not set tracking cookies. When you click an offer link, a link on our domain records an anonymous click event with no name, email or IP address, then sends you on to the partner or issuer.
